Post #275 written by Khodok in Comments Updates

Comments are updated often aren’t they?
- The new comments app was added to the Blog.
- It’s not possible to add comments anymore unless you use the new comments (don’t try the urls, they were left for superusers but you won’t be able to use them, yes talking to you Huawei’s Web Crawler
), but fear not, lil fella, it’s even easier than before!
- Comments got Alias Name field added (allows one to hide their name if they want to, to fool around mostly, although note that Moderators (so currently only Admins, but later this’ll mean everyone with the Moderator role, which will probably mean me, and me, and maybe also… well yes, me).

Oh yeah formatting will be added back, but some stuff won't be rendered (like images, videos, urls, most stuff like iframes and, of course, Javascript, which will be stripped), when it'll be added back, you'll be able to use basic Markdown, code highlighting, if your comment is accepted you'll maybe also be allowed to add links, and maybe if I trust you enough I'll even add a way for you to add more "possibly dangerous" content to comments, but my Goodness you'll have to earn this one.
